Lauren C.

Fit Leader

Lauren is a Registered Nurse of nearly 20 years, earning her degrees from UNH and Northern Essex Community College. Since 2005, she has dedicated her career to caring for others in fast-paced, demanding environments like the ER. She is extensively trained in yoga and wellness, holding a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification plus additional specialties in Tone & Flow, Hands-On Assisting, Reiki I, and Master Health Coaching. Lauren is also certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, AED, and First Aid.

Lauren’s yoga journey began after a 2019 neck surgery forced her to slow down from years of athletics, lifting, and the physical toll of nursing. Rolling out her mat became both a physical and mental challenge, but through stillness she found healing — layers of stress, anxiety, and past trauma began to fade. This transformation fueled her passion to teach and to help others discover their authentic selves through movement, music, and mindfulness. Completing her 200-hour YTT at age 50 reminded her — and now her students — that anything is possible at any age.

Returning to Drive as a yoga instructor is a full-circle moment for Lauren, one of Drive’s original members. She loves Drive’s mission, energy, and community, and is excited to inspire clients to uncover their inner strength with mindful movement, sweat, laughter, and love.

Outside the studio, Lauren enjoys lifting, reading, crafting, being creative, and spending time in nature, especially camping with her husband, two sons, two dogs, and her beloved cat. Her favorite Drive classes are Define, Power to Stretch, and Lift — and her least favorite exercise is running.
