National Yoga Day at Drive: A Celebration of Movement, Recovery, and Community

After three straight rainouts, the skies finally cleared just in time for our first outdoor Yoga Mega Class of the 2025 season—on none other than National Yoga Day, June 21st. At last, it was the perfect evening to reconnect with what makes Drive special: a community grounded in yoga for recovery and performance training. Becky G led the class with her signature energy and intention, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience.

And what a way to celebrate. Over 80 participants joined us for a powerful evening of movement and breath, led by our passionate yoga team. Together, we created a beautiful reminder of what yoga means to the Drive community: not just a workout, but a reset—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

In addition, the event ran seamlessly, thanks to our incredible team and the energy of our members who showed up ready to move with purpose. As part of the evening, we also collected yoga mats to donate to the Boys & Girls Club, one of our longstanding local partners. Ultimately, this donation drive was a way to share the power of practice with others in our community, making this more than just a class, but a cause.

ROOTED IN MORE THAN “GYM YOGA”

Drive Yoga Class

At Drive, yoga isn’t an afterthought. It’s one of the core pillars of the Drive Method, integrated intentionally to support both performance and recovery.
Simply put, yoga for recovery and performance training helps members train hard, recover smarter, and stay consistent.

Whether it’s improving mobility, calming the nervous system, building breath awareness, or simply offering space to unplug, yoga at Drive is designed to do more than stretch muscles. It restores, rebalances, and reinforces the work you do across all areas of your training.

Our yoga roots run deep, starting with
Jake, Drive’s co-founder and CEO, whose passion for meaningful, purpose-driven movement helped shape our philosophy from day one.
Known to many as “Yoga Jake,” his commitment to offering more than just traditional “gym yoga” laid the foundation for the intentional, recovery-focused programming we deliver today. As a result, his vision led to the creation of our dedicated yoga studio and a diverse class schedule designed to support every member, from beginners to athletes.

ONE STUDIO, UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES

Our Yoga Studio is intentionally designed for focus and flow—whether you’re joining us for restorative work, deep mobility, or an energizing power flow. In this space, yoga for recovery and performance training supports everything else you do at Drive.

At the end of the day, yoga is not an “extra” at Drive—it’s a vital part of how we train.
